On Saturday the 9th of March the Ballarat Observatory will be open for you to learn about our amazing universe. Note: Bookings Essential. \nAfternoon Session 2pm-3.30pm This session has been cancelled in line with our hot weather policy. \nThis family-oriented Session will include: \n\nShort 3D Movie astronomy movie.\nLearning how telescopes work\nInteractive activities about light.\nSafe Solar Viewing*\n\n*Weather permitting \nWe recommend bringing a water bottle\, sunscreen\, hat\, and all your astronomy questions. \n\n  \nEvening Session  7.30pm-9.30pm  \nOur Evening Session Includes: \n\nTour of the Observatory\nAstronomy Short Movie.\nStellar Viewing using telescopes**\n\nWe recommend bringing a water bottle\, and a jacket. \n**Weather permitting. Cloudy Weather Alternative:  Virtual Night Sky Tour. \n  \nTickets for the evening session can be booked here along with our other evenings during term 1: \n\n  \n
