Looking for something to do in the school holidays?  Join our nerdy school holiday program and learn more about our amazing universe.

Whats on?

Evening Sessions (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 6.30-8.30pm)
Our evening sessions involve a tour of the historic observatory, a short Astrotour movie about the solar system and life and death of the Sun and finished with wonderful star gazing with our modern telescopes. If the weather is cloudy, a virtual night sky tour will run instead of telescope viewing. We recommend bringing a water bottle, insect repellent and a blanket.

Afternoon Session: Sunny Fun (Saturday 21st, Tuesday 24th, Saturday 28th, Tuesday 1st 3.00-4.30pm)*

Astronomical Spring starts on Sunday the 22nd of September meaning more sun for us! Hooray! Learn about the layers, life and death of the Sun, the different layers of the Sun and weather permitting, observe the sun safely for yourself.

 Friday October 4th:

Sci VR with OzGrav

Saturday October 5th:

Intro to Satellites.

All events will require booking. Bookings will open during the Winter School Holidays.
