Mars will be reach opposition during January 2025 and be at it closest approach this orbit. What do we know about Mars? and what questions do we still have?

Come along and learn about mars with talks from an astronomer, craft activities, a 3D Astrotour movie and more.

Evening Program
Experience a guided tour of the historic site, a presentation about expeditions to the red planet and view the night sky through a telescope. If cloudy a virtual night sky tour will replace telescope viewing.
When: Most Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturday in January 8.30pm-10.30pm**
* If forecast is above 34 degrees, session may be cancelled and tickets refunded.
** No Sessions on 11th of January
