World Space Week
Friday 4th:
ONLY ONE SESSION FOR OZGRAV
- 1.00-2.00pm SCIVR Session with OzGrav – Take a trip out into the solar system and beyond in a virtual reality headset! OzGrav’s amazing VR system takes six people at once to a virtual universe full of planets, stars, black holes and of course, gravitational waves! badge making, and puzzle sheets. Restricted numbers, for Students only, a very special opportunity to sit in the front seat of technology.
- 2.00-2.20pm Afternoon Tea
- 2.20- 4.00pm It’s World Space Week! We can learn lots about stars by learning about the one closest to us.
You’ll get to learn about the layers of the Sun and weather permitting, observe the sun safely for yourself. We recommend bringing a water bottle, sunscreen and layers (of clothing).
Saturday 5th:
