AstroKids! Eyes on the Universe: what can we see?

This AstroKids session is designed as an introduction for families to learn together about the different types of objects we see in space from  comets to galaxies and how telescopes (our eyes to the universe) work. You’ll Listen to educational talks, watch informative demonstrations and learn by doing with our hands on activities.

 

Note: For those looking for a more advanced introduction to various topics in astronomy, we hold “Introduction to Astronomy (ITA) courses for ages 12+ throughout the year at various times. Contact info@ballarat observatory for more information.
